Over his 30 years in the entertainment industry, Takeo Kodera has been involved with diverse experiences such as acquisitions, sales, IP licensing, film financing, archive restoration and international co-productions. During his career in the production space, he served as a co-producer for the documentary film, Ryuichi Sakamoto: CODA, which premiered in 74th Venice International Film Festival, on the internationally renowned composer; and a China-Japan co-produced film, Namiya, based on best selling novel, The Miracle at Namiya General Store by Keigo Higashino. His latest film is Serpent’s Path, a Japan-French co-production directed by an acclaimed Japanese filmmaker, Kiyoshi Kurosawa with Ko Shibasaki, Damien Bonnard and Mathieu Amarlic, which will be screened at San Sebastian Film Festival in competition section this year as international premiere.
