Lee Thean-jeen (TJ) is one of Singapore’s most prolific and acclaimed showrunner-writer-directors, with over three decades of experience in crafting award-winning streaming, television and film content and IPs. In 2011, he founded Weiyu Films, a production company that excels in scripted drama for television and online platforms, as well as feature films. Weiyu Films has also embraced Virtual Production, and most recently produced a 23-minute pilot episode entirely using these cutting-edge techniques.
TJ and Weiyu Films’ notable IP titles include the epic multiple-award-winning period drama This Land is Mine, multiple seasons of the beloved series 128 Circle, and the popular legal drama Code of Law. These productions have reached audiences across Asia, the Americas, and the CIS region, and have been featured on prominent platforms such as Netflix, Disney+ and Apple TV+.
