Maya Huang was named Head of Chinese Language Content in December 2023. Based in Taipei, she oversees the overall strategy for the Chinese-language slate, including content acquisition and the production of local series and films, showcasing Taiwan’s powerful creative economy to the global audience. With over 10 years of experience as a screenwriter and script consultant, Maya’s highly-acclaimed work includes feature films “Big Little Women”《孤味》(2020) and “End of Summer” 《西小河的夏天》(2017). She started her career at Funscreen Weekly where she penned insightful features with filmmakers around the world.
