Woon Woon won her first Best Director Award for the drama series “Against the Tide” at Star Awards 2015 in Singapore. Since then, she has been a regular nominee at the Awards. Her last directorial work “Key Witness”, earned her the Best Director Award in 2022.
In her dual role as director and producer since 2018, she has directed and produced 3 consecutive web series, including “The Distance Between,” which she led a team of 15 across three different states in Australia over five weeks, completing the 16-episode web series with nearly 95% of the footage shot in Australia.
Woon Woon produced her first TV drama series, “Hello from the Other Side,” a fantasy romance, which attracted more than 1.8 million viewers across TV and digital platforms in Singapore, and was nominated for Best Drama at the 2021 Star Awards.
Recently she also helmed the production of Mediacorp’s biggest IP, “Emerald Hill- The Little Nyonya Story”.
