Jay Lin is the founder of Portico Media, a Taiwanese media hub involved in content development, production, distribution, and marketing. Over the years, he has aggregated and introduced over 20 foreign TV channels into Taiwan, working with some of the world’s largest media companies such as NBCU Comcast, Viacom and A&E. In 2017, he launched GagaOOLala, Asia’s first and the world’s largest LGBTQ+ BL streaming service, hosting more than 1,200 titles and with a rapidly growing membership base of 2.8 million members around the world. Portico has produced thousands of online viral videos via one of Taiwan’s most popular digital content channels, HahaTai, as well as overseen the production of over 60+ GagaOOLala Original titles, selected by more than 200 film festivals worldwide.
