Ekachai Uekrongtham

Ekachai Uekrongtham is Chief Creative Officer & Managing Director for GMM Studios International, and a director and writer. His first film was “Beautiful Boxer” (2003), about transgender Muay Thai boxer, Parinya Charoenphol, who pursued the sport to pay for gender reassignment surgery. Uekrongtham’s premium TV projects include “Dr Climax” (2024) for Netflix, as well as “Girl from Nowhere” (2021) and “The Stranded” (2019), among others. His films include “Pleasure Factory” (2007) and “Skin Trade” (2014).
